Although the bill passed through this committee with only one “no” vote (coming from Senator Lawson), the Agent’s Section is confident it won’t make it to the Senate floor. FLTA Agent’s Section Chair Shelley Stewart, CLC, provided testimony in opposition to the bill, while OIR Legal Counsel Steve Parton made supporting statements. Other agents in attendance at the meeting were Sue Geigle, Kevin Hussey, Curt Niehoff and Lisa Blythe.
