Send your comments re: DFS Proposed Inducement Rule by April 1, 2010

FLTA Agents’ Section Chair Beverly McReynolds hosted an agents conference call this morning regarding the DFS Proposed Inducement Rule. More than 20 agents discussed the proposed rule, with special attention being made to the defintion of an “interested party”, affiliated business arrangements, and unlawful inducements to real estate professionals.

In order for the magnitude of our questions to be fully understood, Beverly would like all agents to send comments to the DFS. The contact person is:

Loren Noren, Special Investigator

Bureau of Investigation, Agent & Agency Services

Florida Department of Financial Services
